“No, I haven’t had many adventures there. Maybe we climbed over the wall once. No one lived there – as far as I know, it has always been a museum. Later I worked there as a volunteer. Receiving visitors and working on the photo archive. But the Sterkenhuis is the oldest house in Bergen. It’s part of our memories and it definitely should be included.”

“Nee, ik heb daar niet zo veel beleefd. Misschien zijn we wel eens over de muur geklommen. Er woonde niemand – voor zover ik weet, was het altijd al een museum. Later heb ik er gewerkt als vrijwilliger. Bezoekers ontvangen en werken aan het foto-archief. Maar het Sterkenhuis is het oudste huis van Bergen. Het is deel van ons geheugen en het moet er beslist bij.”
